XEROMANCY
is a conjuring involving the most common machine for zine creation.
Different spreads are generated by collaging on the bed of the copier
making unique pieces in a limited edition. In XEROMANCY slices of hair, cascade across pages and overlap. A divination by way of the Xerox. A translucent prophecy. An oracle that moves beyond its initial location from the headbang in heavy metal culture and tries to move beyond it to find more formal investigations. A diaphanous prophecy. |
