Narrative
Synopsis:
Is
Kansas City known as the “city of fountains” because
it is secretly home to the legendary fountain of youth? Would
a Kansas City-style barbecue sauce with youth-enhancing chemicals
be worth killing for? This site-specific piece, inked directly
onto the walls in Feb. 2008 at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary
Art in Kansas City, charts the (mis)adventures of an idiosyncratic
amateur detective and allows viewers to choose among six possible
endings to the story in a choose-your-own-adventure–type
narrative.
