STAN SHELLABARGER
November 12 to December 17, 2005
Wearing
boots with 50 grit sand paper adhered to their soles, Shellabarger
paced on the wooden walkway of a Chicago drawbridge eventually leaving
a visible mark. The drawbridge, located between Cermak Street, spans
the south branch of the Chicago River. The performance took place
weekly throughout the amenable months of 2005.
